What kind of pieces do you sell, and how should I take care of them?

At Atelier 42, I specialize in fine, handcrafted jewelry, pieces that combine design, care, and quality. Each creation is made with dedication, reflecting the richness of detail and the inspiration we get from Mexico and popular/anime culture.

Since this is fine jewelry , it's important to remember that these pieces are delicate and require special care ; they are not made of materials like stainless steel, which can be more durable. However, with conscious use and proper maintenance, your jewelry will retain its beauty, character, and shine , accompanying you for many years and acquiring its own unique history
What material are our pieces made of?

All my pieces are made of 925 silver (sterling silver), a high-quality metal that represents the artisanal tradition and cultural richness of Mexico, a constant source of inspiration in all our creations.

Is each piece unique?

Each piece from Atelier 42 is handcrafted and made to order for each of our clients. This means I don't have any stock, so there may be variations compared to the photos. But we believe that's precisely what makes each piece unique and special, made exclusively for you.
Why do some pieces acquire patina/darken?

This is completely natural in silver and does not mean:

- that the piece is defective, or

-that it's not silver ;

On the contrary, this is proof of its authenticity. Over time, sterling silver oxidizes, but I believe this patina gives it character and personality, showing that your jewel is alive and has been worn. In this way, the patina becomes part of its history and, like me, many consider this to make it even more beautiful and unique , reflecting how it ages with you.

However, if you ever want to restore its original shine , you can safely clean it using baking soda, warm water, and a soft brush, carefully rubbing the surface. Or there are also specific cloths for cleaning silver and leaving it like new. These processes remove surface oxidation without damaging the piece, although the natural patina can also be preserved as part of its character.
How long will my piece take?

As you know, Atelier 42 is a handcrafted jewelry workshop, and for this reason I don't have stock of any of the pieces. That is, each piece is made to order according to the design chosen by each customer. This means that my pieces may take a little while to reach you (it usually takes between 2 and 3 weeks to have the piece ready for shipping).

However, I believe that this very handcrafted process is what makes this workshop so special and the pieces that reach your hands truly unique and made especially for you!
How much does shipping cost?

The shipping cost will depend on the destination of your order. We recommend that you carefully review your information before completing the payment, as it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the address and contact information are correct .

Please note that import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply to international orders depending on the destination country’s regulations.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer.

At Atelier 42 , each piece of jewelry is created especially for each order, designed exclusively for the recipient. For this reason, we unfortunately cannot accept returns once payment has been made.
